Croatia Airlines Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary

Croatia Airlines, the Croatian flag carrier is proud to have celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2019. Over the past three decades, by providing scheduled and charter passenger and cargo transportation services, Croatia Airlines has grown into a European airline recognised as a company whose flights are safe, whose staff is professional, and whose quality of service is high.

To date, Croatia Airlines has operated about 614,000 flights and has flown over 40.2 million passengers. In the meantime, the company became a member of the most important aviation associations – IATA and Star Alliance.

As the Croatian flag carrier, Croatia Airlines significantly contributes to the development of Croatian tourism since it enables year-round connections among Croatian destinations as well as connections between Croatia and the world. Almost a third of all airline tourists annually arrive to Croatia on Croatia Airlines flights, and the company ranks among the largest exporters in Croatia. 

Croatia Airlines is introducing flights from Zagreb to Sofia and Podgorica

Croatia Airlines is starting to operate scheduled international flights from Zagreb to Sofia on 1st May until the end of October this year. Flights will be operated three times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays – aboard a Dash 8-Q400 aircraft. As of today, return tickets for flights between the Croatian capital and the capital of Bulgaria are available at promotional prices starting at EUR 139.

Two days later, on 3rd May 2020, Croatia Airlines is also introducing scheduled international flights on the Zagreb – Podgorica route. Flights will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays also aboard a Dash 8-Q400 aircraft, with return tickets available at promotional prices starting at EUR 119.
